Walkeys have been in business since 2008 and is now under new management but keeping within the Walkeys family. Our Mission “is to ensure that we are creating a safe and comfortable environment for your pets, while providing the highest quality care and leaving your beloved pets wanting more”.
We are an experienced team, working together so we never let you down. We offer a reliable and flexible service and assure you of the confidence required to know that your pets are being cared for exactly as you would wish. We cover each others walks so you can rest assured that we will never let you down.
Our walks are away from public areas and roads and we use cars, not vans, so your dog can see exactly where he is going and will travel in a similar situation when you take him out in your vehicle.
Your dog will be returned tired and happy and ready to snooze until you get home. We carry cleaning materials and towels and whilst we are not dog groomers, we will do our best to clean your pet before bringing them home.
Dog daycare in South Oxfordshire / West Berkshire.
Our day care is in the quiet village of South Stoke in South Oxfordshire, with lots of land and the river Thames at the bottom of the garden. Your dog will have a wonderful day, being walked, played with, loved and looked after at all times. We do not pen your dogs in and we stay with them throughout the day.
We cover a wide area from Didcot, Caversham, Sonning Common, Tilehurst, Pangbourne, Streatley and Goring through to Wallingford, Benson, Chalgrove and then over to the Chilterns and across to Compton and Ilsley. We cover most of West Berkshire and Southern Oxfordshire.
The products we use are eco-friendly and bio-degradable.

Our young dog has been going here once a week for over a year now and I can’t imagine a better environment for dogs to get their mental, physical and emotional needs met, even for an active working breed such as ours. The team has excellent knowledge of dog behaviour, and have had our dog for many overnight stays when we’re away. I never worry about her while she’s at Walkeys.
My 4 year old Labrador has been going to Walkeys 2 times a week for the last 8 months and has absolutely loved it. My dog is obsessed with Emily who picks her up and drops her off and always makes sure she’s left with a little treat. My dog comes home absolutely KNACKERED after day care from all the playing, walking and enrichment that they do with the dogs in their care.
It would take a long time to describe how wonderful Walkeys has been over the last 8 years looking after Budddy our dog , He goes and has a good time for day care regularly and loves Phillip and Helen . On holidays Phillip comes and looks after him at our home . The care they take of him is exceptional and professional . What would we do without them!
Have used Walkeys services for the past seven years, since our goldie was a pup. They are always professional and reliable. My dog literally dances for joy when he sees the Walkeys van coming to take him on a walk with all his friends!
Willow loves going to Walkeys Day Care – I’m sure she knows which day it is because she sits by the front door waiting to go! Helen and her team are amazing – when Willow was poorly they phoned to let me know and suggested a trip to the vets which turned out to be a very good idea. I can highly recommend Walkeys whether you need day care or just want some socialisation for your dog – they’re fab!
